Will Jesus Christ come back? Many people in the world doubt the second coming of Jesus.
Many don’t even believe Jesus came in the flesh, lived, was crucified, but rose up again on the 3rd day.
This is largely due to the false teaching going around, as the Bible predicted in the following Scriptures:
- Matthew 24:24: “For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.”
- 2 Peter 2:1: “But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.”
- 1 Timothy 4:1: “Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons.”
These four portions show clearly that God knows how the end of time will be.
“I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done.”
Isaiah 46:9-10 (ESV)
The Bible has been spot on with all its predictions. This is why I don’t doubt what it says about the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Do you believe this?
Why Many Are Easily Turned Aside By Heresies
Let’s consider why many turn to false doctrines that go against the truth in the Bible.
And this problem is not just on those who don’t go to Church or have never known Christ.
Even those who have once believed may doubt that Jesus Christ will return to gather the saints.
Before I share the Bible portions that show clearly (against false teachings) that Jesus Christ will return, here is why many doubt the rapture.
1. Not Having An Encounter With The Word
Many people have never had an encounter with The Word. I don’t care how you know or encounter him.
An encounter never leaves you the same – whether with God the Father, Son or Holy Spirit – He is one.
So try not to always think I had an encounter with the Holy Spirit, not the Son. Yes. But they are all one.
When you have an encounter with God, no one can say anything contrary to the word.
The confirmation of what you find in the scripture makes you know other things in the Bible are true.
My encounter was with the Power of the Holy Spirit coming on me in my mom’s house.
On the fourth day of a 30-day fast, I kneeled and asked God for the promise of the Holy Spirit and immediately my tongue changed.
My life has not been the same since then. I know it is real. He is His Word.
After the encounter, you can never use any kind of logic, science, philosophy, Maths, whatever to try to convince me that God is not real.
2. Lack of Knowledge Of The Scripture
I want to share scriptures that state clearly that Jesus will return to gather the saints.
Lack of this knowledge is why false teachers use certain parts of the scripture to convince those who don’t know much about the word that we won’t have a “rapture.”
I am not here to argue about the meaning of the “rapture” word.
I am here to affirm the understanding Christ will return as many Bible portions confirm it clearly.
These are not figurative expressions of any kind. These are the true words of Christ.
